PETER GAULT – MONTEVIDEO, URUGUAY

Founder of TLA, Peter was an international banker for 13 years with Lloyds Bank International (Argentina, Brazil, Hong Kong, UK and Uruguay) and Libra Bank in Brazil, where he lived for 5 years 1985-90. Peter gained his project management experience with Fyffes Plc, the Irish fresh fruit multinational. Contracted in 1991 to restructure its tropical operations, he led a multicultural team in several Central American countries prior to becoming President of Fyffes Inc. in 1998.

Having worked with several start-ups, Peter established TLA in 2003 to provide turnaround and performance enhancement solutions to both distressed and growing companies in Latin America. Applying a commonsense approach to problem solving, Peter has assisted companies in a wide variety of sectors, including agribusiness, banking, manufacturing and the food sector.

Born in Kenya and raised in Ireland, Peter is a graduate of Trinity College Dublin (MA Econ). Speaks fluent Spanish and Portuguese.

IAN DAVISON – SAO PAULO, BRAZIL

A Certified Accountant who qualified in the UK prior to assuming a number of senior international positions in Latin America and the Middle East, Ian is a finance professional with extensive commercial experience, having led regional finance operations in Argentina and Mexico before assuming the position of Country Manager for Reuters in Brazil.

Bilingual in Portuguese and Spanish, Ian is a hands-on manager who knows how to get things done the right way, especially in Brazil where he has lived for almost 20 years.
